Compressed Gas Technologies was recently awarded a contract to supply a nitrogen generation system to the Department of Agriculture. The nitrogen system is designed to supply LCMS grade nitrogen to six mass spectrometers. CGT was able to supply and install the equipment prior to the government’s fiscal year end requirement.
Williams College has installed another nitrogen generator supplied by Compressed Gas Technologies. The college installed their first unit in 2011 to supply LCMS grade nitrogen. The lab has expanded and needed a second unit so they turned to CGT since they were so happy with the existing nitrogen generator.
Air Liquide completes Airgas acquisition. The deal creates the largest industrial gas group in the world. By combining the two companies the industrial gas supply will shrink, potentially causing nitrogen prices to climb in certain areas.
