An additive layer-by-layer process, Selective Laser Sintering (rapid prototyping) technology uses a high-temperature laser to melt and fuse, or sinter, powdered plastics or metal into a three-dimensional part. Nitrogen is used to inert the chamber during the process. Membrane nitrogen generators are ideal for this application.
