LANXESS, a specialty chemical company, recently opened their new $20 million production plant for high- tech plastics. The plant is located in North Carolina and is the companies first in the United States. This facility is strategically located in the “auto-belt” allowing it to meet the needs of the automotive industry. LANXESS installed a nitrogen generator supplied by Compressed Gas Technologies Inc. for all of their nitrogen requirements in the lab. The nitrogen generator eliminated the need for high pressure cylinders or dewars of liquid nitrogen.
