Nitrogen Solutions That Protect Water Systems
CGT recently commissioned a modular PSA nitrogen generator which will supply high purity nitrogen for a water treatment system at a University in New Brunswick, Canada. Nitrogen is used in the degassing process by sweeping nitrogen through a specialized membrane which is used for dissolved oxygen removal. Oxygen is removed from the water stream to help prevent corrosion in numerous industrial applications. It is also used in the beverage industry for increased aroma and flavor.
