Compressed Gas Technologies Inc. was contacted by a company in Utah that has a large PSA nitrogen generator that was purchased over 20 years ago from a now defunct company. The company did not have money in their budget for new equipment and wanted to see if they could refurbish their existing equipment. After many unsuccessful attempts at finding a vendor to work with they contacted CGT. After numerous discussions with our engineering team, we provided the customer with our recommendations to bring the equipment up to spec. A new PLC system was installed along with newer, more efficient carbon molecular sieve. After the changes the equipment was up and running and had actually surpassed the original performance specifications.
