One of the world’s largest chemical companies located in Minnesota recently installed a modular PSA nitrogen generator in one of their manufacturing facilities. A new product line had recently been installed that required a continuous supply of high purity nitrogen. After using dewars of nitrogen for the product launch the company looked at ways to reduce their nitrogen costs. After working closely with a CGT nitrogen generation specialist, a unit was sized to meet their flow and purity requirements. After the unit was installed, the customer started up the unit and was making high-grade nitrogen within a very short period. The customer was very pleased with the whole process and commented on how user-friendly the system was to operate.
